Anas Aremeyaw Anas
Anas Aremeyaw Anas is one of Africa’s most intrepid undercover investigative journalists. Anas’ daring undercover work and “Name, Shame, and Jail” mantra have made him a hero to anti-corruption, human rights, and transparency activists, but equally earned him powerful enemies both in his native Ghana and elsewhere in Africa. It is for this reason that he has never shown his face in public. A lawyer by training Anas has done major investigative work for Al Jezeera and several media outlets in Ghana. In 2015 Anas’ investigative work exposed 32 Judges after they were recorded receiving bribes and demanding payments in exchange for favourable rulings.
